Hi, my name is Ilona, but musically I go by SoulFire Adoration. I’m a “Lütt Hamburger Deern” – which means “little girl from Hamburg” in German – though at 1.79m I’m not really that little (wink). Romantic at heart, I’ve always been moved by poetry and metaphor that carry a gentle, tender touch – moments of language that feel delicate, intimate, and quietly powerful.

My journey into songwriting began in brokenness. Life has led me through deep seasons of pain and sorrow, and for almost my entire life, I felt like a shattered soul. Yet in the middle of that darkness, Jesus began to bring light back into my life – and He continues to do so, day by day, piece by piece. I started writing songs as a way to honor Him and to put into words what I’m learning and experiencing as He restores me.

With SoulFire Adoration, my heart is to evangelize through music – to reach those who don’t yet know Jesus, and to touch broken hearts everywhere, whether Christian or not. Because even among believers, many carry invisible wounds. Through my songs I want to encourage, to bring hope, and to point to the One who saves.

For a long time, however, songwriting felt like just a dream. I didn’t play an instrument, and I wouldn’t call myself a gifted singer. But then God opened a door I never expected: through the use of AI, I discovered new creative possibilities. After many hours of work and prayer, I brought my first song to life – a testimony that what seems impossible to us is never impossible with God.

If there’s one message I want to leave you with, it’s this: Jesus is not a fairytale. He is reality – wonderful beyond words. If you don’t know Him yet, I invite you to discover Him. He saves, breaks chains, pours out His love over the broken, gives peace, and offers eternal life. And if you already know Him, but feel shattered inside, let me encourage you: don’t give up. Hold on to Jesus – He will lift you up, just as He did for me.

May my songs touch your heart, bless you, and breathe new hope into your soul.

With love and blessings,

Ilona
